Handcrafted in Austin, TX
Since 2007 CareerPlug has worked to make hiring easier for over 12,000 growing companies in the U.S. and Canada. We designed our hiring software for non-HR people so every owner, operator, and hiring manager can make the right hires for their team.
Growing and innovating in the heart of Austin, our core mission to make hiring easier has always been our driving force. From owners to candidates, we believe in creating exceptional experiences for everyone. To us that means providing a playbook on How to Hire, making it easier to access best practices, and automating the process so you can focus on what matters: making the right hire!
We are a company that thrives on the creativity and contribution from every member of our team. You can feel something special as you walk through our office and hear us working with clients, sharing our weekly and monthly goals, and collaborating across all our teams — we care about our work, and even better, we love it!
We care deeply about one another, our clients, and the world around us.

Founder & CEO
Clint founded CareerPlug in 2007 with the simple idea that there was a better way to help employers connect with quality applicants. Today Clint works every day to fulfill CareerPlug’s mission: Make Hiring Easier. Leading by example, Clint loves spending his time developing new ideas and teaching others.
After graduating from the University of Florida, Clint worked in investment banking and strategic marketing; both experiences influenced the development of CareerPlug. He also spent a year away from the business world teaching 5th grade in Boulder.
Clint is passionate about helping others succeed and is involved in numerous mentoring programs. He and his wife, Sarah, are also foster parents. Clint enjoys family time, beach volleyball, and outdoor adventures.
Native to Texas, Jenny graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 and joined CareerPlug in 2017. She retired her first career path as a Registered Dietitian after 10 years, and has found her true belonging in business operations.
As CareerPlug’s President, Jenny leads all teams to an aligned effort toward achieving our vision. She works to build healthy and scalable internal systems to equip and empower the CareerPlug teams to bring their best for our clients. She loves contributing new ideas and rethinking the status quo. Jenny really connects with the company’s core values, but especially with our intent to “Keep Growing.”
In her non-work life, Jenny enjoys time with her family, playing drums and performing with the Austin Samba School, and finding excuses to be on the lake.
Vice President of Sales
Chris accidentally started a 20-year career in franchising when he was 18 years old and took a job painting houses for College Pro Painters. That job turned into the ownership of his first franchise (a house painting franchise). While at Monmouth College in IL, he operated his business, played on the varsity football team, and studied to become a teacher.
The taste of entrepreneurship and desire to coach others led Chris deeper into franchising, working with a few franchise brands helping them grow their businesses. He lived in the Chicagoland area his entire life until recently moving his family to Austin, TX.
In his free time Chris coaches youth sports, especially youth football, and spends as much time as he can with his wife and 2 children.
Senior Director of People
Growing up in southern Wisconsin, Natalie attended Emerson College in Boston. After moving to Austin in 2014, she joined the CareerPlug team to work in sales and marketing. As the company grew her role evolved into internal communications and eventually human resources. She made the move to Door County, WI in the summer of 2020 as the company transitioned to Remote First, forever.
In her current role as the Senior Director of People, Natalie works to ensure we put our People First. From helping the company grow with the right people in place, facilitating professional and leadership development programs, and ensuring we operate in alignment with our core values, Natalie is committed to growing the company to be one of the best places to work – anywhere! She also leads CareerPlug’s marketing and client education teams.
In non-work life, Natalie enjoys writing, running, hanging out by the lake, and collecting Monopoly games.
Senior Director of Client Experience
Mallorie graduated from the University of Utah in 2010 and moved from Salt Lake City to Austin a few years later. With a background in psychology and experience working in both startups and Fortune 500 companies, she joined CareerPlug in early 2020.
As the Senior Director of Client Experience, Mallorie leads our client experience teams to create exceptional experiences for clients every day. Our core value to Give Back resonates most strongly with her — she has always believed that “the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others” (Mahatma Gandhi). She tries to take every opportunity to give back to our clients, our team, and our community.
Outside of work, Mallorie loves spending time with her wife, kids, and friends. She travels whenever she can, spends time outdoors, tries new things, and embraces the Texas heat!
Mary Catherine Jarvis
Senior Manager of Partner Success
CareerPlug loves to give back to our employees, our clients, and our community with a goal to contribute 1% of our revenue to charity. Our donation matching program is one of our favorite employee benefits with team members frequently giving to local and national causes. We’ve also partnered with a global reforestation nonprofit to plant a tree for the first hire every client makes!
In 2014, our employees took the initiative to form a Give Back Committee to organize opportunities to give back to our community, which has included volunteer events with Hands on Housing, Safe Place, and Strut Your Mutt. The past couple years we’ve also hosted Maven Youth Tech Camp — a summer program for LGBTQ+ teens to learn about working in technology.
Most notably, we have a strong partnership with Foster Angels of Central Texas, supporting their Toys for Teens Holiday Drive, SkipFest, and other events throughout the year. In 2015 we worked close with Foster Angels to begin a $10,000 scholarship awarded to a foster youth to help continue their education. Since then we’ve awarded new scholarships each year and had CareerPlug employees become mentors to help set up the recipient for long-term success.
Our core value to Be Kind means we care about making a positive impact on the world and we constantly seek out opportunities to help others in our community.
